Me... in case you want to know who's cooking

Welcome to my kitchen. I'm Tricia, a born and raised city girl living the simplest life she can in the country with one husband, eight kids, two dogs, sixteen chickens, two ducks, one cow and a big binder full of my favorite recipes.
Fun facts about the authoress:
Reformed fried food addict.   Justification for future fried foods: Everything tastes good fried.
Of Spanish heritage.  Stick around long enough and you'll see my Cuban, Dominican and European roots.
I serve over 30 plates of food in a day most days.
I am a cake designer
I did not eat my first meatloaf until I was well into my 20's... Spanish people do not make meatloaf.
When I was little my favorite movie was The Coal miners Daughter, I longed to live in the mountains in a log cabin and I wished I was blond and not a Spanish brunette ; )
I spend my days sewing, gardening, crocheting and trying to keep my attention in one place long enough to finish what I started.  You can see what I am up to at my other blog here
